Thirty years back, Boston's waterfront was keep running down and cut off from the city by a raised expressway. The harbor was so contaminated, a unintentional swim required a visit to the healing facility. After billions in venture, Boston has one of the cleanest, most lovely harbors in the US.
Starting in 2012, an impromptu coalition of waterfront non-benefit associations drove by The Boston Harbor Association started co-advancing all the social offerings occurring on Boston's waterfront from June first through Labor Day. In our first year, we brought over $1m up in professional bono advertising support and came to more than 25 million perspectives through our promoting effort with the motto "Eat. Sprinkle. Shop. Learn. Rediscover Boston's Waterfront this Summer."
